Its improving though. There was a new version with a new CPU core (with a lot of work) released a few days ago. Apparently much faster, though I've not used it much. ProjectX crashes you see!

edit: That video above is with the old core.
edit2: Note ST is full speed with sound (generally). So if the ST port is equivalent then you're ok for now.
