Another Scotland user says hi.

First Post!

I've been a member of the forum for a wee while so feeling "brave enough" to introduce myself.

I'm from the far North of Scotland and own a few Amiga 1200s and an A500.

My enjoyment of using the Amiga nowadays comes mainly through emulation using Windows, Linux and GP2X. I also follow the progress of AROS and such like.

Before Amiga, the ZX Spectrum was my passion, a favourite memory is using my A500 (with soundsampler) to load ARCADIA from Spectrum directly into my Amiga - that was a looooooong time ago, what a feeling of power it was!

Anyway I still love the Amiga and thats my wee introduction.

Cheers everyone!

Yes me too. SAM seemed the obvious option or it seemed at least that was the magazines play on it.

So rather than get stung there, I ordered an Amiga 500 pack from Digicom - the Bart Simpson one and it had a 10 game pack and Kick-Off 2 chucked in for good measure.

And they promptly took my money and went bust!

So my first Amiga ended up costing me £1000+ lol.
