Amiga File Systems
« on: August 19, 2003, 07:11:12 PM »
I have only become aware of file systems other than the one that came with the Amiga OS recently. I use the FFS that came with the OS because I don't know about anything else.  Having the utility Quarterback Tools to correct any errors is useful as well.  Yet I would like to know what file system people use and why. I look forward to your comments.

You use PFS3 as it is faster.  Is it more reliable?  How much is it and where do you find it?

Where does one get SFS?

Are there any tools that work with PFS or SFS like the orginal FFS (ex Quarterback Tools)?

It sounds like either one is a good choice.  Thank you all for the info.
