User-startup problem
« on: November 11, 2007, 01:44:50 AM »
I'm getting my 3000 tower up, but I have a small problem.  I am having software errors when my workbench comes up, it goes to yellow letters and numbers about 7 times and then works great.  I do not know the command to show all of the startup-sequence and user-startup display.  I would like to edit it so I can debug this problem.  I'm using 3.9 and 2.1, it boots up fine in 2.1.  I would like to run 1 command so I can go through 1 command at a time.  I guess it has been awhile from my tower.

Thanks for any help

At first I thought the problem was Opus, but it is effecting the icons.  The images goes down to a few colors.  I think the problem is turbo print.  I'll type one line at time and see what happens.  I backup the both startup files.  I think I'll remove the user-startup and add one command at a time.  Thanks for the information.

I found some programs in WBstartup that I have removed and now system runs correctly without software errors.  The programs that I removed is:
ASyncWB which I had a call out waiting for it to finish
PatchWB not sure what this program did or does?
StartPatchWB also removed, unclear also what it does?
