i have a 60gb drive i tried setup in hdtoolbox
but got some wierd numbers all over, so i googled
around for the drives product id/name and
found some linux site, where all the data where
presented, entered them in hdtoolbox, and that
was it....its been working flawless for some years now....
About the parking of the heads, newer harddisks have builtin functions to park the head in a safe place outside of the discs, but I have no idea of
values set in hdtoolbox overrides this...again
maybe you find some info about this if you
find the harddisk specs/info somewhere....
