The "stupid" post was actually in reponse to something I had written, with the poster saying he didn`t approve of my solution.
My first reaction was to take offense, but after having read it a couple of times I thought better of it.
I simply explained that DiskSalve worked for me, and was perfectly upto the job for my needs.
Concerning the negativity in the Amiga community, I do have to agree with you. You`ll see by my first ever post on this website I was slated and accused of not owning genuine originals of certain software which didn`t bode well for any new user.
Fortuanately, I`m not swayed that easily but I can see how others may have been. :-)
