It's a multimedia system, complete with a powerful scripting language. There's also a Hollywood Designer that provides a Powerpoint/Scala like GUI for creating presentations using Hollywood. True. However, this was a post about a software update. As such, it's targeted to people who already have the product in question and hence know what it is.

You are right that it is better to have a small description to paste in to all your announcements giving a quick overview of the product. It's easy to forget that not everyone has been keeping up to date with the Amiga software scene.
