So far, Troika and their Amy 05 looks real (maybe it should be called Amy 06/07?). Mind you, hoaxes are designed to look real too. If they don't manage to produce hardware, it doesn't necessarily mean that it was all a hoax. The Boxer was real, but never made it all the way to production. I hope that they or some other group manage to get OS4 licensed PowerPC hardware out.

Thats probraly the most convincing reason why they might not be an hoax  :-D  :-D

 :lol:  Brilliant!

@humppa

IWin's been confirmed as a hoax for a while now. Plus, I don't like the look of their website.

Troika have occasionally posted "updates" that at least sound plausible. The technical detail is correct. They also appear to have actually contacted both Amiga Inc and Hyperion.

There was another project that claimed to be in the works with a photo showing a crashed U-Boot loader. However, one of the Friedens (who is an OS4 developer) said that he had no knowledge of this project at all. That sounds more like a hoax.

Either way, I said that they LOOK real. I have seen no concrete evidence to either prove or disprove that they really are developing what they claim to be developing.
