 The simple answer is YES!
 
 But not with two little problems:

 1- If you have 3.0 ROM, probably you need to soft-reset your Amiga in order it recognize the hd (due the time of the hd spin-up);

 2- Heat issues (caused by the physically large hd blocking the air flow).
