Anyone else playing TotalChaos AGA?
« on: May 13, 2007, 04:09:04 AM »
Hi ppl.

I wonder if another person in the planet are playing Total Chaos AGA.

Now is a new release, 6.41, much more noob friendly. More beautifull, too (than ooold versions).

I know the game is machine-ungry, but I play it very well in mine 1200/030@52MHz with 130Mb RAM.

For ppl who don't know what I'm talking about, there is the link for download:-D

Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.

Did you watch the tutorials in The Newbie Edition?

Did they help you any?

Are you still a n00b?  :-D

Do you play on AVM or ARM? (Amiga Virtual Machine or Amiga Real Machine?)

I read the tutorials when I start to play Total Chaos a year ago. The tutorial is very good, well writed and explain almost all (impossible to show all in a game with that size) aspects/spells/creatures/etc of the game.

Sometimes I read it inside the game, too (that's what I call noob-friendly:-D).

I play it ARM, of course. Almost everyday (eheh, true is EVERYDAY, no exceptions).

I don't think I'm a n00b anymore, I need to try my skills against other human players, not only versus computer.

Goodbye people.

Hey! I've read it!

But nothing compares to use the software, after. Yes, there is little mistakes on some spell descriptions.

Like the "armour" one: says you'll get 1/3 of the actual life force of the character, but instead it gives 20 points of life to it! Much better than if the character have only 10 lf and the spell gives more 3 points, only.:-D

Ok. I will edit the description here, too.

Or I'll wait for the next version, maybe with a Brazilian Portuguese version and some other contributions.;-)

There is another thing:

I've noticed some ppl complaining about the size of the /music drawer (something like 15 Mb, if I remember right).

Hey, more music is never enough! Playing this stupendous game for more than six months and you'll get bored with the music.

Please, mr. Conwell, add more and more music and .8svx to this marvelous game.
