I dont think im the only one that realizes that you are in fact Doomy after reading some of your posts.... so enough with the self loving please.

Well, I did have the pleasure of meeting the DoomMaster at a Commodore User Group meeting in Beaverton, Oregon.  He is a very nice person, and he does know a lot about computers.  Right now he is in the process of re-doing the 2-hour movie about the golden years of home computers, with better camera equipment and lighting.  If it is like what he has up on You Tube, it is going to be a great movie.  He told the group that he will mail a master copy to OPB and to Washington DC for the archives.

I must say, with all the negative talk about Doomy here on Amiga Org, I did not expect that I would actually like the guy, but I do.  Come to find out, the man actually has a long history with Commodore, and he was the one that originally came up with the idea of a first-person style game.  It was going to be a first-person role playing game based on the Ultima RPGs.  His idea was stolen before he could get a patent on it.

I took my Amiga 4000 to Doomy's shop and he repaired it and cleaned it while I waited.  Afterwards, he showed me the actual old PC and CAD program that he used to create maps for Doom, Doom 2, Duke Nukem, Shadow Warrior, Blood, and Serious Sam.  He also showed me his N-Scale trains, his modded and painted XBOX consoles, his modded PS2s, his classic GI Joe collection, his TV shows on DVD collection, his rotty, and of course his vintage computer collection.

Many people actually prefer the Amiga 2000 over the other Amiga models.  Does this mean that they are all the DoomMaster?

It might have something to do with the way you show your love for the Amiga 2000 :-).
