For me personaly its starting to become usefull (at least with the release of the irc client) =) if you have the skills to set it up with SFS yourself you will notice a HUGE speed difference! hoppefully by the time Coolcat releases 0.5.0 SFS will be the main filesystem.

That depends Andy =) the progess since a year is "big" the OS is comming along nicely and is in my opinion now useable! before burning that CD id say read the forum on aros-exec.org to see what others think and check the gallery there for some screenshots and then decide if its worth that CD.

Hehe it depends on his interest =) he could also check irc.freenode.net #aros and talk live with people and check what they think.
