WTB: Amiga Mouse and A500/1200 Power Supply
« on: December 28, 2011, 12:55:00 AM »
Hi,

I managed to find 2 A1200's (One CBM and One ATech) and 3 A500's.  I was able to test them as one of my friends has an A500 with a power supply and a mouse and only one A500 seems to be not working (Dead floppy drive).

However, I have no mouse and no power supply.  I don't suppose anyone in the US/Canada has one or both of these items floating around that they do not need anymore?

Thanks,
Chris

Does anyone have experience with this adapter since it allows PS/2 and USB and installs inside the Amiga 1200?

I'm unfortunately in the US.  I found an old AT power supply that I'm going to try to use.  Hopefully I can get it working.

Good news, I found an old AT power supply and was able to modify it to use a different power jack that I found at Radio Shack.  All I need to do is mount the mating adapter into the Amiga and heatshrink the power cables coming out of the power supply to make it look better and I'm done.

I also found an old Atari ST mouse that I modified so it tracks correctly on the Amiga, so it looks like my Amiga 1200 is up and running!  I brought in the new year playing "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego"
