Hi Darin and welcome to Amiga Org. Solaris and AIX and Cobol, quite a background. Yes Cobol is well and truly entrenched in the core of many organisations.
Amiga 3000 was an all round perfect machine for the time. Pity the 4000 didn't extend on that upgrade trend in GFX and sound. Basically just processor. Hmmm.
