I am not asking for help with anything, I just thought some people might be interested in this.

I am. Where did you get the SCSI-IDE adaptor from?  Do you know the brand/model?

Cheers on the working 2000.

Thanks for the info Dave. Maybe I can get rid of that "bhd" Buddha Hard Drive, in my signature. Haven't been able to get a CF IDE adaptor working on it.

I use an original Buddha IDE w/ $2 ebay CF adapter & Sandisk CF (after changing bit in DOS machine).

It works, but sometimes gives errors on boot- maybe CF is going bad?

What size CF Card are you using?

Looks good. So you don't need the Zip drive anymore.

Well it looks like I am going to have a lot of time to play around with the Amigas, I had a major heart attack on august 1, and I am not allowed to do much of anything for at least 3 months. I am starting to get around a bit now and decided to get the third CF card installed in the Amiga, this one is accessed from the back, so now the back one is DH0 and houses all the programs and the front two are dedicated drives for the Video toaster and AD516

So sorry to hear about the heart attack.  I hope everything is as good as it can be, and you make a full recovery. I guess you're on a cocktail of medication daily now.  Not the best of ways to free up time for your Amiga's.
I suppose it's a message that us oldies are not as young as we once used to be. Time for a check up?

Once again all the best. A distraction can only be good, yeah?
