FS-UAE in Linux slow

Got to be something simple. Check the priority.

I enabled JIT in FS-UAE which is a line of text you have to add to the "custom configuration" section of FS-UAE.  This helps quite a bit, but it's still not quite as fast a WinUAE.

How do I set the priority?

Go into System Monitor and check the "nice" column.
It should be zero by default.

FS-UAE is slow, and you can't do much about it. WinUAE is the fastest UAE incarnation atm, even under Linux (running in WINE). Look at the "lame AKsack.wav" benchmarks I made a while back.

Interesting benchmark. What's "Ubuntu Native" ?
