Maybe, but it's my impression many are reverting their classic machines to lower specs and using the money to upgrade, which is a good think IMO.
I'd still love to get a CPPC TBH 
But it probably wouldn't be used that much so I would end up considering selling it again.
With gold at $1700us an ounce that would make one of these cards comparatively around $20,000us. Thank goodness they don't really sell priced like gold. But I agree 100% on your point regarding classics. IMO too.
