So Lunithy, let us know, did Cammy get your 2000 back up and running with a new OS?  Hopefully you've got a copy of Workbench now to match your Rom ?

Lunithy, that keyboard problem can happen when the pins become corroded but its usually a cable issue with the A2000 keyboard cable near the plug that causes the problem you're describing.  The keyboard port shold look like the attached photo.  The bottom pins stick out more than the top.  If the pins are slipping back or splitting some hot glue at the back might hold them. Some RP7/WD40 on the contacts and hopefully that problem is licked.
Don't give up.!
Not sure what was on that HD.  I think I might have put a vanilla system backup incase I needed it.  Hopefully nothing incriminating there. If there is then I obviously got the HD from someone else and it's their stuff.
