Ive got a 2000 too.  If the A2000 battery is original it probably is best to remove it. It will be NiCad.

As to what you might want to do additionally, one option is getting a Buddah IDE Card.
And the best way to get more RAM is the 32Bit variety on an Accelerator.

It depends on what you want to use the beasty for.

BTW: I think I've got a spare 1GB Quantum SCSI around the place for your A2091.

Yep Gertsy that bat is gone now and so is the HD as it seems to have been misplaced by a friend who was trying to find another :angry: .... that HD you have may come in handy so thanks you very much for that offer pm me what you think you'd wont for it, I would like to get it going and then move on to improvement's later to get an appreciation of the difference .

I've have often wondered about this. What ever happened to the people who worked for the magazine? Where are they now? Does anyone know any of them? I have often wondered if they are on A.org...
