Mounting the chip is fairly simple.  No need of a flathead screwdriver or an extraction tool, in that case.

1.  Make sure you are statically earthed
2.  Remove the card from your A1200 and place it on a flat firm insulated surface. (EG: Upsidedown mouse mat on a level table)
3.  Note the proper orentation of the FPU, check all the pins are straight (look it up in the Amiga Hardware DB if not sure http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/blizzard1230mk4)
4.  Place the FPU carefully over the socket in the correct orentation (Remember, get it right, dont bend any pins)
5.  Provide level, equal, firm & constant pressure to seat the chip into the socket.  (You will feel a distinct drop as it locks into place.

As far as taking it out again.. Why??  It's found a home and should live there forever now.
