Seems to me the answer is to see about non-profits that would let their property be used for cheap, or even free.
Also, i think it'd be cool to not have it IN NYC, but nearish. Maybe Penn, NJ, or "upstate" NYS (New Yorl State).
I like the West Chester idea. I bet the town officials would be pleased to host it.
