I hate to say this, but in terms of hardware, this Commodore One is more of an Amiga than the schlepware that we're currently being offered.

For example, the Commodore One has REAL sprites.  These new "Amiga" compatible systems don't-- they use the same off the shelf generica (AGP cards) that Wintel clones and Macs do.  Same goes for color-bandwidth-saving modes (which is really ideal for video compression).  The Commodore One has something like HAM8 mode (24 bit modes are great, but there's a time and a place for everything;  the more video modes you have, the better). The new "Amiga" stuff lacks it.  Ask yourself, "What really makes Amiga One hardware any better than Mac hardware?"

Simply put, the new "Amiga" stuff is slapping together generic parts.  No innovation.   No additional hardware features to set it above the crowd.  At least the Commodore One has that.  If ONLY this C=1 woman and Mick Tinker had got together about 5 years ago.  Amiga Inc would be moot.
