I too would rather see them use lookalike cases rather than seperate Amiga internals from their rightful shells. You have the case, so creation of a mold from it should make things a LOT cheaper.
I hope somebody is saving all these functional and non-functional A1000 boards. Someday there will be very few left. And that's a crime against history.
I for one would take an A1000 home anyday.
BTW I do wish the new "Amiga" moboards would fit into the A1000 case. Better still, the a600 or A1200.
