I can grok the notion of:
1.AmigaShell> TYPE filename.txt > SPEAK:
But how and what do you mount "FTP" as a device? It's an xfer protocol, though "ftp" is popularly used as a verb, and as names of programs.
Having it as a Amiga device sounds very cool in that very-cool modular Amiga way (like using Parnet to mount your buddy's Amiga's SPEAK: device and make his computer talk trash over the network ;-), but I cannot for the life of me understand the concept of mounting "ftp as a device". Maybe I'm trying too hard here.
Somebody explain this or start a new topic/thread on it?
