minimig PAL60 hack with source code
« on: July 24, 2008, 08:04:38 PM »
If someone wants to have a PAL60 FPGA firmware with source code, here it is: click me

This version also have some additional features that I did for more compatibility. Especially for some (few) old games and demos that can not work with any kind of "fastram", also the CPU speed can be set back to 7.xxMHz. Combining this two features in one single jumper makes minimig very much like an real A500 with chipram only.

To choose this, close jumper pin 3+4 on Spare-I/O. It will directly disable slowmem and clock the CPU at 7MHz. In most cases the Amiga will crash or just freez. Doing a soft-reset (ctrl+alt+alt) get minimig back to work, only in some few cases the PGM Reset was necessary.

I hope this will support the NTSC world users. Also I hope that the minimig is still interesting for some developers (and myself :-))

have fun

Anything that is in my abilities. Until now I try many things and check what happen... Also 512kb Chipram by jumper for even more compatibility, but this is right now only working static and not selectable. bugs are everywhere ;)

If there are some wishes, I can try to implement them. right now only in FPGA! this PIC compiling is still not working here.

Sounds like great stuff, but I can't get the link to open.

Never mind, it downloaded on the fifth try.

Thanks for helping out us NTSC MiniMig builders/owners.

It might be my router was offline in this time. Some strange reconnect logfiles just arrived.

@all Im glad to be of service. In time maybe I add a few more features (or possibly bugfixing) to the minimig core :-)

@RedskullDC
Always! Is ECS already working? :-D
