I would check if Amiga outputs 12Volts on the relevant pin.
(There should be a fuse for Amiga video connector and it might be blown, that's what I had in two A2000 and A520 RF modulator wouldn't work)



I used to have a Sanyo 21" colour tv hooked to an Amiga 3000 over a standard RGB->SCART cable. I had to modify the cable (connect two pins) in order to get the picture on screen. Without the modification I only got to see the Amiga picture while in teletext mode ;-). Otherwise, just black, deep black.
