You've done well writing the e-mail, I can't see how it could hurt the current Amiga situation. I agree with the fact that all Amiga-related parties should join forces instead of irritating eachother over and over again, preventing hardware and software to materialize.
Now the big problem I see in this is that all armies are lead by egos too big to wear a helmet, flexible like a cubic meter of solid steel. Getting those egos to burry their differences and actually start to co-opereate creates the need of a strong, charismatic president, respected by all. Only then I guess their might be a chance of long-term delivery of new products branded Amiga or Amiga-compatible.
My guess would be that the first to deliver new Amiga hardware could well become that president needed. (So Dennis, release the Minimig ;-)).
Personally, my financial situation at the moment is as such that I do have to wait 'till summer just to be able to by a new Amiga so I've no problem to give them another 3 to 4 months the benefit of the doubt.
