The swap/sale event is a good idea. You should advertise it on craigs list etc.

ps. Is there a more up to date Hyperion site than the one linked to on the Amiwest page? That site only has news up to March 2013.

Nope, it seems that is the most up to date site. :(
Shame, as it makes it appear that nothing official has happened or is happening since early 2013.

Perhaps pointing potential amiwest attendees to the Hyperion Blog would be better? http://blog.hyperion-entertainment.biz

The amiga future preview of AmigaOS4.1 final edition is interesting.
