Art Work On Amiga
« on: August 13, 2006, 04:43:11 PM »
I love the idea of drawing some nice art on DPIV or whatever. But, I am the worst drawer you could imagine. Looking through the pictures I can see some amazing artwork but I have a question: WHERE DO YOU EVEN BEGIN.

To think that those people once had a CLEAR screen and their final product was nothing short of a masterpiece is great.

My idea was always to draw in terms of frames... i.e. layer on your next bit.

But I would like to know what your artists do step by step!

Hey, thanks for replying guys - and two good ones at that. I have my A1200 w/ 1220Accelerator (~~30MHz / 4Mb (6Mb total))

I personally am using DPaint though I do have PPaint and Photogenics (but the diskette is corrupt :(     )

I start off with the typical BLACK screen and on LOW RESOLUTION of colours....

So, that link, cv643d - has it took you a long time to do.. did you work on each little section for hours? do you use my kind of low resolution when you start?

THANKS!
