I am quite blockhead. I have just bought a 4×EIDE'99 Buffered Interface.
Now my more than crazy idea is to use the primary IDE channel for TWO IDEtoCF (I have to find a way to put them on the back of the Amiga) and the secondary IDE channel for the CD-ROM and... now I have to find a slim LS120! :)
And a clockport interface for A500... but one step near the other!

@flaviosr or anyone else:  Did you get the 4xEIDE'99 working with the Vampire?
I asked in another thread:
http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=72877&highlight=EIDE%2799

got a couple responses

A small update.
I finally received my new 99xEIDE card.
I installed the "primary" CF on the primary IDE44 connector and a CD as master and a CF as slave on the secondary IDE40 connector.
At first I tried my old 99xEIDE drivers, simply since I had them in ADF and I could load them with the Gotek emulator... no results and I hanged the Amiga. :(
I then used the NEW driver and now the CD is working and I have been able to install OS3.9!!!
And the issues I had with files loaded from the floppy (real floppy) now seem disappeared.
It's only strange that the preference program do see the second CF but I cannot see it working! :(
And that I have some problems loading some OS3.9 programs...

More info to follow!

Thanks for the update!!!!

Woooooo... finally I got it!!! In my previous tests I was not able to see the second CF on the second channel (as a secondary device of the CD-ROM).
So I decided to reinstall AmigaOS 3.1 from the scratch so also installing the newest EIDE'99 drivers (I previously installed the newer drivers over older ones).
And now everything seems to be the right way...
Now the difficult part... "rework" the case of the Amiga to fit everything!

Very cool! congrats!!!
