Either you could write to seller and see if he's willing to accept your apologies and keep the item
Maybe paying him the ebay fees that he spent for the listing could make you get away without buying. Just a thought. In the past, i have paid for items i really regret buying afterwards but that doesn't mean that you can't say no tis time. That's why feedback is there.
