my chronic problems
« on: July 23, 2003, 04:17:54 PM »
As you may well know I've been having big problems with my Micronik busboard, and I just need someone to answer me this simple question before I toss it aside and get a replacement;

Should my A1200 red screen when I boot up with the busboard installed with NO accelerator?

cheers Lando.  It's my only option without buying a big box Amiga (seeing as I already have a PicassoII lying around).

I have tried everything now with this board though, even with a completely stripped system and correct power I still get that bloody red screen.  I've come to the conclusion that the board is screwed.

The board has had several owners before me that I know of, it could have had a lot of previous owners and I think I've been sold a dud :(

Okay cheers Matt, I've tried it, left it for 20 minutes, still nothing.

I'll source a new board, and if the new board does the same................the saga will continue...........
