Hi, everyone -- I guess it's time for an introduction. just today a new-to-me A3000 was delivered to my door. It needs a bit of work (watch for my upcoming posts :-) ), but to me that's part of the fun, bringing good old hardware back to life. I'm going to have a lot of fun. :-D
My ever-understanding wife says this is all OK with her...a project Amiga is cheaper than a project car.

Welcome Ed,
It sure is part of the fun to bring an Amiga back to life and upgrading it. It's my revenge for my lack of funds way back in the 80s.
My wife is understanding too to some extent. I can easily go overboard with hobbies. One family member said to me this thanksgiving that it's always fun to come to my house because they never know what I'll be into when they visit. They asked me if I'll have a pack of Lamas in the backyard next year.
Well anyway. Glad you decided to introduce yourself. Have fun with your new-to-you toy.
