warp engine for a3000 desktop?

is there a special model for the warp engine to fit in an a3000?.  aaany land mines to avoid in installinf it?

Other than that, there is no difference.  I'm running a A4000 version in a A3000 right now and have been for quite a while(It's running my web server).  I hope that helps

How did you fit it in without hacking the a3000 cover?
Do you have four slots for memory or two?

Oh, btw, if you plan to do this, and plan to use the one board SCSI on the warp engine, you should check out the int 21(I think) hack.  It's posted around somewhere.  You may not need it if you are running a newer rev motherboard than I am(don't remember the rev).  Otherwise the SCSI is VERY slow.

any chips that HAVE TO be upgraded..ramsey..buster
et al?
if i  take out the internal floppy drive and use an external FLOPPY drive willthat free up the space for the WE?..How about the static fast ram on the motherboard? have any had problems conflicting with the WE?
