A1200 Power supply
« on: April 10, 2006, 05:09:09 PM »
Hi. As you know, I'm a BIIIG newbie. Reading past posts I'm a little bit confused and scared with A1200 PSU. I own a classic A500 with its power supply, and a new A1200 (plus external CD, HDD, 4wayIDE splitter and Blizzard IV 1230) with its own PSU. So the questions are:
- Can I use the A500's PSU with the A1200?
- Should I use the A500's PSU?

The external CD-ROM drive and HD have its own power supply: I'm using a PC AT Power supply.

So: i'm in danger of fry my A1200 using the A1200 PSU? Is better the A500 PSU?

Thanks in advance!
A1200D(Blizzard 68030,32MB,Wifi,IdeFix,CDROM), A1200D(Apollo 68030,8MB),A600,A500
I maintain a site on everything, Amiga too (in Spanish)
Regards to all amiga fans!   :-)

Thanks, Adonay! Amiga.org is amazing! A reply in half an hour!

So I can use both PSUs with my A1200. I'll keep using the new one. The external stuff has its own power, so no problem!
