I think you must decide whether your main interst is "classic stuff", then the big box Amiga is the best you can get. Or is it an Amgaish system for doing many every day tasks - then MorphOS is your favorite choice.
Interests differ and I can speak for myself only, but while I liked my maximally expanded Amiga quite a lot (A1200 w/Zorro, Delfina, network card, ppc, scsi, gfx card) I decided to sell that all off a few years ago and go MorphOS only. I never looked back and don't miss the 68k maschine except for the Delfina. But I am not much interested in games and such stuff though.
The good thing: whether you go MorphOS or Ax000 - it is both a fine choice. I'd rather chose a MorphOS maschine though.
