If you are starting from scratch and don't want to go in to the heavy side of programing for the AMIGA, I would Suggest finding a copy of BLITZ BASIC, its a lot like PASCAL mixed with C and a bit of Basic thrown in, and its fast.
Also was ued to create many published titles after its release. Including Skidmarks/Skindmaks 2.
The other option is the AMOS series, but I would stick with BLITZ as its more of a profesional tool than AMOS could ever be.
If you can't find a copy on ebay, i have come across a web addy that may help, but try and find an original copy because its well worth buying.
