Good deals?
« on: October 12, 2007, 04:03:04 PM »
Hi there,
I put ads in the locals recently and got a call from a guy who has a CD32 with box, 8 - 10 games and all the cables for £30. All discribed as excellent to mint condition.
Is this a good deal? :-?

Moto got the right idea. "I PUT IN A WANTED AD" not for sale ad.

I will give you a PM as soon as I get it. ;-)

Not yet, just have to pick it up sometime over the weekend or sometime next week. The games as far as I remember are good classics (apart from rise of the Robots *yuk*).

OK putting ads in the locals really WORKS!!!

Got calls for a CDTV + 500 and another guy who has 4 or 5 500's, faulty 1200, 1200 tower and loads of other stuff. Plus shouldn't cost a fortune like on eBay either.

Get calling to them free ads!

Hmm this topic seems to have turned slightly dead.

Well good news is that I have got the CDTV and its immaculate! Has the intro CD and 4 games:
Defender of the Crown, Trivial Pursuit, Sim City and a Cook Book CD. Wait 3 games actually...

Probably will get rid of defender of the crown and that cooking one. Just need to find guideline prices for them.

Should be picking the CD32 up Friday morning so good stuff to look forward to.
