Forgive me for stating the obvious... But in reading through this thread its not clear whether you tried using a different monitor on the 'faulty' machine? I'm sure you did, but figure it worth mentioning. Just a tunnel-vision check. :lol:
I know I'm guilty of it on occasion; focusing in on technical minutia, possibly overlooking something really simnple? Like - "It won't work in 'O-F-F' mode" (military joke..).
One of my co-workers who is extremely smart gets caught in that trap all the time. If you ask him what time it is, he'll tell you how to build a watch. :lol:
