This is a problem I've never seen before, wondering if anyone had any ideas?
I installed an additional scsi HD in my system with an ID of 4. The other two drives have IDs 2 and 3. They are all 18.5GB IBM 10K scsi drives and all three attached to cbscsi.device (cyberstorm scsi). The termination is active on both ends. The problem is that now all of a sudden HDToolbox in OS 3.9 crashes every time I try to run it! I can see the drives in cyberscsi tools but it keeps insisting that I do not have the "TD64" patch and the HD will be limited to 4GB. My FFS is version 45.1. The first two drives worked fine, but his new drive has really thrown me for a loop. Now I can't get HDToolbox to run AT ALL, even with that third drive removed. HDToolbox crashes every %@!& time -- even when I try running it from the emergency disk. Has anyone else encountered such a problem? Or am I missing something obvious? Thanks!!
