As said above already: remove and reseat the CPU card, and clean the contacts. I had the same trouble with my old (and now your) A4000, and after reseating the CPU card twice and with a slight bit of pressure it booted up.
I think the problem might be in the CPU connector on the mainboard - if (one of) the pins in there are slightly bent back then it doesn't boot up. Examine those pins and when needed,
gently bend them back with a small pointy thing (like a needle).
Really, your A4000 is in working order, she just needs some TLC.
