I also find it somewhat disturbing that he keeps talking on his website about "We at Retrogeek Computers"..

Who is/are these other(s)? Or does he refer to himself in Royal Plural Form, like those megalomanic kings and emperors in the past always seem to do? ("We, Louis XIV from France.......")

1. He purchased a few computers and had fun(although, I hate to think what he did to that poor little vic 20)

I was thinking somewhat similar. In the video he says (about the VIC-20 from his roommate):

"I sat down in front of the computer, turned it on, and started doing things with it"..

Right now I have very vomit-inducing visualisations. Poor VIC-20  :-(

I thought it was a good video on how he got into computers.

There is a difference between putting up a page with you history written in it (which he already has), and making a 12-minute video of yourself, in which you tell the same story.

If I could give a tip to Doomy: make a video in which you actually DO something, or show something on that marvellous Amiga 2000 (I wonder why he is sitting in front of an A4000 instead though) rather than sitting still and telling a fairytale in a way too monotonous voice.

Almost as bad? Doomy is worse! At least the Apple II guy has porn videos! (check the video around 1:08 minutes )

My two year old duaghter came over to a stripped A600 rev 1.5 motherboard and I said "its a nice board" and she started stroking the chips.

Now please tell me he did not say that in his video.
