Does this card work with a Peg1/MorphOS?
« on: February 27, 2007, 01:49:52 PM »
I can buy a Hercules ATi Radeon 9200SE 128MB card for next to nothing, but I want to know for sure if it will work on a PegasosI.
The Pegasos Book mentions it so I guess it's no problem, but has anyone got experience with this card? Or do I just slide it in the slot and fire up the machine(P&P)?

It may work. I didn't heard about incompatibility as on 8500.
Try to get a 9100 instead (=8500LE).

Are those cards all available as low profile? I need one of those since I've built my Peg in a small desktopcase which can only take half height cards.

Well, apparently the card does not work. I've tested it in my pc without trouble, but no results on my Peg1 yet. The previous owner of my Peg had the board working, so I'm thinking that either the Hercules card does not work with the Pegasos, or (I hope not) that the board is damaged.

What more options could there be? In my pc I have a GeForce Ti4200, which (I think) will not work. I also have an old pc lying around with a pretty sucky gfx card, but it doesn't fit in the case (I need a low profile card, with this fullsize card the VGA-out hits the case before it slides in the AGP slot).

Any help?
