A1000 daughter board - a simple question
« on: October 31, 2006, 09:42:38 PM »
What does the daughter board in the A1000 do? I opened up my recently acquired A1000 and found this daughterboard. My other A1000 didn't have it.

Is it extra memory? (I haven't hooked the A1000 up yet, so I haven't checked it in WB)

The board is plugged on top of the mobo, connected with a lot of thin copper sticks. And the picture IS from TBBOAH :-D

Apparently it appeared on European units as well, since this one was bought new in Holland.
