What is crazier is that there are two bids on it!!!

Well....it's two offers, not bids. The person may have offered $5. But since the shipping is $25 it's still a little crazy :-0.

Well, I hope that's a typo. I see that he already sold 12 of them for 25.

Kickstart roms only £1000, 10 sold.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Amiga-A1200-Original-3-1-ROMS-kickstart-V40-68-with-install-guide-/140972403997?pt=UK_VintageComputing_RL&hash=item20d29c2d1d

If you notice the "10 sold" was at 15.99 each. Sometimes people will jack the price up if they are expecting to get more stock, I guess to hold the listing open. I tried to buy a couple of AC adapters for laptops once, they told me they were out of stock, refunded my money and changed the price from $14.99 to $149.00. A couple of weeks later they got more stock and dropped the price back. Not sure where you get more Commodore stock :-).
They may have found out they are collectable and are hoping for the best on the last item.

Well then, a worthy investment!  :p

Do you get before and after pictures if you buy?

It says "May not ship to Canada" so I guess I'm out of luck :-().

Holy crap, that is a bit surprising. That's going to be at least $2,250 in Canadian $. It's a good time to be selling stuff from Canada, enjoy the haul! I bought a very similar A4000D locally advertised for $60 a few years ago - I offered $80 because I thought he was selling it too cheap. Feeling pretty good about that purchase right now :)

I do wonder when the market for these machines will crash as we all die off, apparently not yet!

You should check it out now....up to $3500 Canadian $. I'm temped to put up my 4000 tower!

Here's someone greedy, trying to cash in on the long waiting list. Selling a Vampire II 600 for $699 Canadian / about $550 US.

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=262612824686&alt=web

Where do see $550 US? Right now the bidding is up to $132 US.

$300 US for a non working A600. Are they that rare? Only got $60 something from my 1 MB Chip RAM A500 in original box a couple of years ago.
