C128 problem
« on: September 12, 2010, 11:24:55 PM »
Hi,
I was at someones house yesterday and they hooked up a C128, but all it would show was a full screen of something that looked similar to...   @@@@@@@@ . If you held down the "Commodore" key and turned it on it would boot into C64 mode without a problem. Is there a ROM chip or something specific for the 128 side?
Thanks for any thoughts.

Yeah, sound like the ROM..

The Computer has many time without use?

Yes, the computer was on a shelf for years. It apparently worked when it was put in the box.
