Hi,
If the screen goes dark and you still have high voltage on the screen (you can feel "static" when you touch the screen), check the heater circuit on the small PCB on the back of the picture tube (on some models the two pins are labeled "H"). The solder often cracks. If not most likely a poor connection on the flyback transformer.

Anybody happen something like this with any C=1942 Monitor too?.. I do not think that is about to die, but you never know what could happen.

remember .. do not pass any other problem, such as fading, or toher problems..
