Amigen genlock

Hi,
I have an Amigen genlock, but no software. Can I use Dpaint or Scala to add titles? Do I need to use a certain color background like a chromakey? I have never used a genlock before and not certain how they work.

Usually you don't need any specific software. The genlock makes the background color transparent, so you can use any titling/genlock software with any hardware. Some devices offer special features that might require certain software, but the standard will always work.
