Lightwave layout: manual rotate?
« on: February 21, 2015, 08:18:00 PM »
Hi folks,

Does anyone remember if it's possible to do a manual (non mouse) rotation of objects in Lightwave Layout (not Modeller)?  I mean, enter an EXACT degree of rotation with numbers from the keyboard, instead of rotate imprecisely with the mouse.

I thought I saw tip somewhere on how to do this, but I can't find it now that I need it.

Thanks!

Guys, thanks but as stated in my original post, I'm asking about LAYOUT, not modeller. I already know how to do manual rotate in modeller.

On the Layout screen     in edit part       select objects       selected item (choose the name of your object)  THEN     in mouse part       select move or rotate or size or stretch or move pivot PL       select numeric or shortcut n  OR     in motion part       current panel (velocity or position or angle or scale)       current value or keyboard shortcut n

Thanks very much.  This worked.
