Heh, to try out the new games, I'm bringing a PET 4016 and PET 8032 to our next FCUG meeting (I'll have another member bring his VIC-20, because mine is acting flaky right now). Those PETs weigh a ton.
Without checking into really old PET newsletters and other magazines, I can't recall of any other commercial games being released for the PET. It's just newsworthy to have new PET commercial releases.
Correct me if I'm wrong,[/url]
Well, EPYX (Automated Simulations) released a lot of commercial games for the PET back in early 1980s - Temple of APSHAI comes to mind.
I have been watching those Bits & Bytes episodes on YouTube all afternoon. I'm going to watch the whole series. They are really great, both from a retro perspective and just a plain teaching perspective - some of the lessons on the roles of logic / CPU / interpreter / compiler etc. still apply to modern computers.
Having watched the show now, I am pretty sure that the computer on the desk behind Luba Goy is a Xerox computer (they briefly mentioned the Xerox computer in the first episode).
